• Vehicle hire rates may vary by season. Rates quoted are only guaranteed at the time they are mentioned but fall within a range.

• Age and Licence Requirements Hirer/Drivers must be 23 years of age but no older than 80 years old. Each driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least two years - this licence must be produced at the time of delivery of the vehicle, this is necessary for repeat clients as well. Please note that if your licence card is not up-to-date, you must present your paid licence receipt and the expired licence card. Clients between 75 and 80 years old should produce a medical certificate from their doctor at home to certify they are fit enough to operate a vehicle and drive in Barbados.                                                                                                                             Please note that only the hirer/driver should be the sole driver of the vehicle. A local permit is mandatory to drive in Barbados and must be acquired exclusively. Please note that your original driver's permit from your country of issue must be presented at the time of the rental. Barbados Driving Permits are valid for two months.

• Requests for an extension of the hire should be made within 24-36 hours ahead of the return date. Please note that extensions are only made possible based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

       Clients are kindly asked to notify us immediately if they have to cancel their reservation.

​

• Unlimited Mileage Unlimited mileage is included with the rate of hire.

​

• Petrol / Waivers are additional charges that may be added to your bill.

​

• Security Deposit The rental security deposit 💵 / credit card 💳 hold is held for the duration of the rental but is reimbursed once there are no issues to the vehicle rental you hired.

​

       Should there be damages/an accident, please note that the deposit is forfeited but does not             account for the total cost of the damages, which would be subsequently calculated and is                 generally prorated based on the situation and the extent of the damages. It is not fixed, and in         the event there are any issues, every situation is assessed individually/separately from any other.​

​

• ALL DAMAGES AND LOSSES HOWEVER ARE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE RENTER AND PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MADE ON OR BEFORE THE END OF THE RENTAL PERIOD.

​       Should there be an accident the client is expected to pay the amount of $2500 USD.

 

         In the event of an accident, call Tiffany's Car Rentals immediately. Should there be any other             issues with the vehicle, please contact Tiffany's Car Rentals. Do not enter the vehicle hood.

• Fuel Policy Vehicles are delivered with a QUARTER or HALF tank of petrol. Clients have two options:-

• Return the tank as delivered. If this is not done there will be refuelling and service charges at the end of the hire.

​

• Vehicle keys are NOT waterproof - clients will be fully responsible for the cost of the replacement of lost or damaged keys and key fobs.

​

• Smoking / Valet Charges We are a 100% Non-Smoking Fleet. In cases where vehicles are returned with an offensive odour (e.g smoke) or excessive debris in the interior, clients will be charged up to a maximum of $ 250 USD for the cost of a professional valet service.

​

       We accept payment by cash (BBD, USD, GBP) or direct transfer. Direct transfers must be paid           48hrs before obtaining the rental..

​

• Delivery/Meeting Point Service We deliver to any private residence, villa, hotel, office or mutual public meeting point.
